Two years ago, the 'Interworld Incident' tore the sky apart with mysterious portals. Those who crossed the rifts and managed to return gained extraordinary abilities, becoming the first Rifters. To control this new force, the government founded the Epsilon Organization, which created the Nexus Academy: a training center to turn Rifters into elite soldiers.
