The Game Census

Games German players love

Ranked by German share — German-language reviews as a fraction of each game's total Steam reviews, from the census' review-language samples. Min 2,000 total reviews so the share isn't noise from a handful of ratings. A high share doesn't mean the game is popular overall, only that German-reading players make up an outsized part of its review base.

Language shares come from Steam's review-language breakdown, sampled independently of the total review count shown on a game's own page — the two can drift slightly out of sync, which is why a share can occasionally read above 100%.
